What is General Needs Housing?

General needs housing is for families and single people without any support needs. The Association has a number of these types of dwellings ranging from 1 bedroom general needs flats to family houses which are 2,3,4,5 or 6 bedrooms.

Management Arrangement

Each general needs family accommodation has a designated housing and support officer who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the dwelling and who will also visit the tenant on a six monthly basis. This person is the first point of contact for any queries or problems.

Communal Facilities

There are usually no communal facilities attached to general needs housing, with the exception of some limited schemes that may have a communal play area or landscaped area or communal corridors/car parking.
