Tenants in Anderston, Glasgow say 'yes' to Sanctuary
 

Scottish Homes tenants in Anderston, Glasgow, voted by a clear majority to transfer their homes to Sanctuary Scotland following a ballot in March of this year. The homes transferred to Sanctuary in June 2005.


Sanctuary Scotland are implementing their plans for a regeneration solution for over 480 properties on the Anderston estate which includes new housing for all tenants and residents who want to remain in the community.

The result follows a long and detailed consultation with tenants and the planned major investment on the estate will mean that residents will be able to live in modern, comfortable and secure homes. Plans also include significant investment in the community including improved retail facilities and extensive environment improvement.
