Sanctuary Group residents living in Bolton, Kingston upon Hull, Harrogate, Lewes, Exeter, Oswestry and Leicester have been selected to take part in a national survey of tenants living in the social housing sector. This includes residents whose landlord is Sanctuary Housing Association, Beth Johnson Housing Association or Asra Midlands Housing Association. This survey is being conducted on behalf of the Housing Corporation by a specialist research agency called mruk.

The surveys will take place between July and November and will be conducted face-to-face at residents homes. All residents selected to participate in the survey will receive a letter beforehand; and the mruk interviewer will show identification and a letter prior to starting the interview.

The aim of the survey is to establish views about the landlord, home, neighbourhood and services received. This is a large scale national survey - over 30,000 social housing tenants will be surveyed. The results will be used to help inform future housing policy and the role of the new social housing regulator, the Tenant Services Authority.
