Worcester based Sanctuary Group, a leading UK housing provider, has sponsored a performance of Jack and the Beanstalk by the Kays Theatre Group, of which some staff are members.
As part of its £1,000 sponsorship package, the Association received tickets for last night’s performance at The Swan Theatre in Worcester.
Sanctuary donated 30 tickets to Fort Royal Community Primary School, a special school in Wylds Lane, Worcester, so that pupils could enjoy an exciting night out at the theatre and meet some of the stars of the show.
Sue Sanderson, a health and safety advisor at Sanctuary’s head office in Castle Street - and Fairy Snowdrop in the production - said: "We are thrilled that Sanctuary sponsored this performance, enabling the pupils of Fort Royal to enjoy the well established tradition of pantomime.
"Kays Theatre Group has now been performing in Worcester for 55 years to sell out audiences, and is thankfully going from strength to strength."
Deputy head at the school, Judith Gudgeon said: "A huge thank you to Sanctuary Group for this sponsorship. It is a wonderful opportunity for our children and their families to visit the theatre and experience all the fun and thrill of a live show."
