Noele Court’s 30th anniversary

A party atmosphere was in the air on Tuesday, 9th June, as residents from a Sanctuary Group sheltered housing scheme in Worcester celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Residents from Noele Court were treated to a special buffet lunch in the scheme’s communal lounge, before taking part in a general knowledge quiz and raffle.

"It’s been a wonderful day and it was so nice to have everyone come together"

Special guest for the day was Councillor Susan Askin, Worcestershire County Council, who met with residents and joined in the celebrations. The event was rounded off with an hour-long performance from entertainer ‘Johannah’ who sang a mix of songs from years gone by.

Joyce Smith, a resident at Noele Court for 14 years, said: “It’s been a wonderful day and it was so nice to have everyone come together to celebrate this special occasion.”
