We are delighted to announce that 243 homes on the Radford Estate in Plymouth have today (July 7th) transferred to Sanctuary from Plymouth City Council.
This stock transfer is the result of many months of hard work by Sanctuary's project team and also the result of in-depth consultation with the City Council and the estate’s residents who voted overwhelmingly in support of the move back in December 2007. Of those who took part in the ballot, a majority 75 per cent were in favour of the move to Sanctuary.
Today’s transfer marks the start of major improvements on the estate, with Sanctuary set to spend around £5.4 million on improvement works to homes and the environment over the next two years.
