Worcester ’s annual Victorian Christmas Fayre will soon be kick-starting the festive celebrations and organisers are pleased to announce a new main sponsor for this year’s event. Locally-based housing association Sanctuary Housing has come on board to give its support and backing to the four-day proceedings, now in their 14th year.
The Fayre, which runs from Thursday 30 November to Sunday 3 December, is the Midlands’ most prestigious Victorian-themed street market. The programme will see a host of period and festive entertainment during the four days and will include carol singers, brass bands and school choirs. Street entertainers will include the 9ft stilt-walkers Phillipe and Phillope who use their juggling skills to meet, greet and entertain. Morris dancers and chimney sweeps will be among the other acts keeping the crowds captivated.
