Sanctuary Housing Association has today purchased Caton House care home in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, from Crossways Trust.
The 68-bedroom dual registered nursing and residential care home also offers respite care. Built in August 1997, Caton House combines the latest modern facilities with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
The home is surrounded by Swallows Care Village - a development of properties built specifically for older people at the same time as Caton House. The day centre at Caton House provides facilities and activities for its residents and those living in the local community.
Steve Wood, Managing Director of Sanctuary Care, said: “We are thrilled to add Caton House to our portfolio and will continue to provide high quality care and support to residents.
“Our first task will be to talk to staff and residents about how we can work together to further improve services at the home.”
Craig Harris, Chief Executive of Crossways Trust, said: “The Trust is delighted to be able to pass on ownership of Caton House to such a professional and well-known organisation and can be confident that the best interests of its residents, beneficiaries and staff are in safe hands.”
