Sanctuary has become one of the first five housing providers to be awarded the "Homes Set for Digital” accreditation.
The nationally recognised accolade, from Digital UK, demonstrates the Group’s commitment to providing communal residents with digital television and information about the switchover before analogue services are turned off in their region.
Graham Seward, senior asset management analyst, and Chris Taylor, assistant asset management analyst, were presented with the award by Baroness Kay Andrews OBE, parliamentary under secretary for communities and local government, at the Imagination Centre in London on 24th January.
Graham said: "Sanctuary Group has made a significant investment into the Digital upgrade programme and through effective communication and project management with regional coordinators, contractors and tenants, we have already completed over 1,000 installations.”
“We are absolutely delighted to have received this award as it demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that all tenants in our communal properties have access to a wider range of digital services well in advance of any switchover date."
