Residents of a private retirement scheme in Wolverhampton are looking forward to sunning themselves in style in their award winning gardens this Summer.
Sanctuary Site Services, based in Handsworth, Birmingham has won a silver award in a national competition for its high standard of workmanship maintaining the grounds of Highgrove in the village of Tettenhall.
Sanctuary Site Services won the award within the ‘Grounds Maintenance of Business and Private Grounds’ category for the ongoing maintenance of the seven acres of land. The award, by trade association BALI was presented at a ceremony last month by gardening celebrity, Chris Beardsmore.
Highgrove, which was built in the mid to late eighties has 47 leasehold properties, which include flats and cottages as well as 1.5 acres of woodland. Managed by the Commercial Team at the Midlands Regional office, the grounds are maintained three days per week by Sanctuary Site Services staff member, Jason Sturmey.
