Ashley House is a purpose built home for 15 older people, three of which may also have a physical disability.
The home comprises of three floors with disabled access, with each floor being serviced by a lift. Thirteen of the fifteen bedrooms are single bed-sitting rooms with an en-suite facility; the other two bedrooms have no en-suite facility, having a shared bathroom and toilet. All rooms have built in wardrobes, a telephone point and an alarm call system.
Ashely house aims to enable service users to maintain their independence for as long as possible in a friendly and relaxed manner.
Activities
Everyone has the opportunity to participate in the social life of the home. Interests and Hobbies are encouraged and the staff team organise other activities and trips out.
Personal Care
Staff are available to provide care and support to service users who require assistance with personal care. A key worker is allocated to each service user on admission to Fawcett Close.
Staff are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year providing service users with care and support in all activities of daily living according to their individual needs. Ashley House meets the National Minimum Standard of 50% of our staff having completed NVQ Level 2.
Resident involvement
Service Users are consulted regularly regarding their care and the service provided through meetings, reviews and questionnaires.
