Beach Lawns is a Nursing and Residential Care Home that offers high standards of care along with a homely friendly atmosphere. Our ethos is that this is the Home of the residents and we work in their Home.
Beach Lawns is located on the sea front, in a prestigious part of the promenade, and has private access to Clarence Park at the rear of the building. We are close to the town centre and access to the motorway both North and South is easy.
We strive for a four star hotel service with a high standard of care.
The residential building is two Victorian buildings with beautiful internal and external features. The Nursing unit was purpose built in 2001.
The home has 86 beds which are situated on three floors. Rooms are single occupancy and have en-suite facilities. Each floor has lift access.

Facilities
Although Beach lawns is a large home, it is split into three units, each with their own dining and sitting rooms, which makes it more homely. However, service users are not restricted to these units and are able to use any of the communal areas.
All rooms have en suite facilities, several with walk in showers. There are assisted baths for service users who may prefer a bath.
The home has 3 lifts to allow access to all floors. Kitchenettes in each unit.

Residential Involvement
Service users are encouraged to continue to keep as many contacts with the community as they can. Some residents still go out of the home to attend various clubs.
Relatives and friends are welcomed into the home to visit service users, there is no restriction on times unless specified by the service user themselves.
Religious services are held in the home.

Staffing
All Sanctuary Care Homes are staffed 24 hours a day with suitably trained and experienced staff.
All homes employ a head chef, catering and domestic staff.
Staffing levels meet all the requirements set by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
