Our home accommodates both male and females of pensionable age.
The categories of registration are as follows: 27 service users all of whom are category I.
Although every effort is made to meet the needs of all service users and to offer a home for life, our home is not registered as a nursing home and therefore we are unable to provide nursing care.

Accommodation
Bradwell Court has 27 en-suite bedrooms all of which are single rooms 24.96 square meters in size which also include walk-in showers.
Ground floor - 10 single en-suite
First floor - 10 single en-suite
Second floor - 7 single en-suite
Communal Rooms
There are 2 lounges and a dining room which are gas centrally heated. Service users are encouraged to use these public rooms, although staff always recognise personal choice.
Smoking is not allowed in communal rooms, corridors or lift and generally discouraged within the home. If people wish to smoke, their own bedroom is the only place available.
Bradwell Court has 27 en-suite bedrooms with the addition of a walk-in shower. There are also 4 specialist assisted bathing facilities.
The Home is serviced by a large hydraulic lift. Each bedroom consists of:
- Single Bed
- Bed linen/curtains
- Single wardrobe
- One 4 drawer chest
- Bedside cabinet with lockable drawer
- Comfortable chairs
- 1 small table
- Fridge
- Bedside lamp
- TV and satellite power points
- Telephone point. Please note the cost of a personal phone has to be met by the service user.
Facilities
All rooms at Bradwell Court are wheelchair friendly with wide corridors leading to them.
There are 2 lounges and a dining room which are gas central heated. There are 4 bathrooms, a personal laundry service, homes shop, public telephone and service lift. Additionally in each room there is a fridge, TV and satelite point and a telephone point.

Activities
The Home’s policy on social activities etc. takes into account the service users’ interests, skills, experiences, personalities and medical condition. The Home offers a wide range of activities designed to encourage the service user to keep mobile and, most importantly, to take an interest in life.
Staff encourage and in certain instances help the service user to pursue their hobbies and interests. The Home organises the following activities for all to take part and enjoy. Some of the equipment is designed for those with failing eyesight.

Resident Involvement
We believe that personal choice is important, which is why we always try and involve residents in the decisions that affect them. Each resident has an individual care plan which we draw up after talking with you, your family or your advisors. Care plans cover the medical, social and emotional needs of the resident, and are regularly reviewed.
Staffing
All Sanctuary Care Homes are staffed 24 hours a day by suitably trained and experiences nursing and care staff.
All homes employ a head chef and experienced catering and domestic staff.
Staffing levels meet all the requirements set by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
