Meadows House is a registered care home offering residential, nursing and intermediate and restbite care for 59 older people with dementia in a comfortable modern setting.
Built in 2003 this building is purpose built to a high specification. There are 59 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. There are 4 units of between 12 and 18 beds, each have 2 communal lounge/dining rooms and assisted bathroom faciities.

Facilities
Meadows House has a day centre that comprises a lounge, a large dining room and activity room. There are 3 garden areas for residents to enjoy two of these are court yards which are enclosed within the building.
Personal care
Hairdressing, chiropody, physiotherapy and dental care are all provided on site for a small extra cost.
Activities
At Meadows House there are two multisensory therapy rooms and the relaxation room which are all well used.
Service users are encouraged to develop a full range of social activities, hobbies and leisure activities through attending college courses, joining clubs and maintaining relationships with their friends, family and existing community links.
Group activites are held several tiems a week. The choice of activities is made by service users at their unit meetings. Entertainers also visit several times a year and special events throughout the year are celebrated.
Staffing
All Sanctuary Care Homes are staffed 24 hours a day by suitably trained and experiences nursing and care staff.
All homes employ a head chef and experienced catering and domestic staff.
Staffing levels meet all the requirements set by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
