Shaftesbury Court Residential Care home is registered for 31 Elderly Frail Clients. The building is set on two floors with a lounge dinning room. Television room on the ground floor. Another lounge on the second floor. Hairdressing Salon. And very well landscaped Garden.
We aim to provide the highest standard of accommodation To promote independence for as long as possible by Highly trained staff. To enable activities of daily living to continue for as long as is possible.
Facilities
The home comprises single bed sits with “en suite”. Single bed flats comprising of sitting room. bed room, kitchen, bathroom. Double bed flats with sitting room, bed room, kitchen and bathroom.
All accommodations are furnished including carpets and curtains. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personal items if rooms permit.
Activities
Activities are arranged on a weekly basis. All residents are encouraged to participate.
Staffing
24 hour support is available and is provided by a professional well trained team. A Manager is on call at all times.
Staffing levels meet all the requirements set by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
Medical
General Practitioner. District Nurses. Optician, Chiropodist, Physio visit on a regular basis. Other Local Community Healthcare Team. Are also available to assist.
Personal care
Staff are available to support residents who need assistance. Specialist equipment is available. eg. Baths, Showers, Hoist etc., to ensure the most appropriate help is given. All Residents are allocated a Key-Worker. AFull hotel and catering services is provided on site.
Residents family and friends involvment
We hold regular meeting to ensure service provided is to a High Standard.
To encourage Service Users to have an opinion and choice. This includes questionnaires to enable direct influence by the Residents and there families.
All visitors are welcome at all times within reason.
