Tilmore Gardens is a residential care home registered for 10 adults with learning disabilities. The building is split into two sides joined by a communal laundry. Each side has its own kitchen , lounge and dining rooms. Which is shared by 5 residents on each side. There is also a conservatory which looks out onto a large garden.
The home aims to provide the highest standard of professional support to enable residents to gain as much independence as possible. Through encouraging interactions in local community.
Facilities
The home comprises 8 single bedrooms, 1 shared room on low support side of house. All with wash basins. Bedrooms are furnished including carpets and curtains and residents are encouraged to bring some personal items.
Activities
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the running of the home. Interests and hobbies are encouraged. Residents are involved in local clubs, go on outings & choose their own holidays.
Staffing
24 hr support is available and is provided by a professional team .There is an alarm call system to summon assistance as required.
Staffing levels meet all the requirements set by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
Personal care
Staff are available to support residents who need assistance. Residents are supported through a keyworker to keep appointments with healthcare specialists (ie G.P Dentist) of their choice.
Residents involvement
Regular house meetings with residents are held. Monthly reviews are held with keyworkers & 6 monthly reviews to include family, care mangers & Day Service enable direct influence by the residents. The views of visitors, relatives and friends are always welcome, visits to the home are welcome at reasonable times.
