Set in the heart of Harrow Weald, Rowanweald is a modern yet homely 75 bed Care Home, close to local shops and amenities. The Home opened in November 1998 and is run by Sanctuary Care, dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for older people. From the attractive gardens to the stylishly decorated bedrooms and lounge areas, Rowanweald has been purpose built to meet the needs of older people.

Like all Sanctuary Care Homes, it offers a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment in which people enjoy a high standard of care, 24 hours a day by qualified and trained care and nursing staff.

Resident Involvement
We believe that personal choice is important, which is why we always try and involve residents in the decisions that affect them. Each resident has an individual care plan which we draw up after talking with you, your family or your advisors. Care plans cover the medical, social and emotional needs of the resident, and are regularly reviewed.

Staffing
All Sanctuary Care Homes are staffed 24 hours a day by suitably trained and experiences nursing and care staff.

All homes employ a head chef and experienced catering and domestic staff.

Staffing levels meet all the requirements set by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
