Activities
Here at Ashdale Lodge we provide a wide range of activities which are divided into two types both spontaneous and structured and are reflected in daily living experiences of individual’s in a care setting.
On sight activities we offer are varied and range from bingo and quizzes to arts and crafts, all taking place in our activity room. We also offer daily living skills and gardening to mention a few. We also keep residents involved in the community by taking them out to the local market, social clubs and pub’s, visits to local theatre’s, the park and enjoying lunch out.
Our activities organiser works with the residents to plan a range of trips to interesting places such as Beverley, York and the stately home of Castle Howard. These are great days out and visitors are always welcome to come along and enjoy the experience.
We believe that all residents should fulfill there life’s in doing whatever they wish and to live a happy and active lives.
Resident Involvement
We believe that personal choice is important, which is why we always try and involve residents in the decisions that afect them. Each resident has an individual care plan which we draw up after talking with you, your family or your advisors. Care plans cover the medical, social and emotional needs of the resident, and are regularly reviewed.
