Facilities
Hawthorn Green has a large garden where residents can sit and chat with friends, have a barbecue or simply enjoy being out in the open air.
Round the clock nursing is provided and there is a hairdressing salon and beauty therapy room for pampering yourself.
Personal Care
In addition to round the clock care and support, residents have the services of a GP along with regular visits from a chiropodist, dentist and optician. Physiotherapy is also available.
Resident Involvement
We believe that personal choice is important, which is why we always try and involve residents in the decisions that affect them. Each resident has an individual care plan which we draw up after talking with you, your family or your advisors. Care plans cover the medical, social and emotional needs of the resident, and are regularly reviewed.
Activities
A full range of activities is organised, from pub lunches to events in the home;from a trip to the popular Lakeside Shopping Centre to a day at Southend-on-Sea. Transport links are excellent and there is parking next to the home.
Onsite activites such as organised games and hobbies take place in the activity room or lounges.
StaffingAll Sanctuary Care Homes are staffed 24 hours a day by suitably trained and experiences nursing and care staff.
