On Valentine’s Day the thoughts of many a young man and woman turn to love and the more mature residents of Keith Leonard House, Hereward’s Extra Care Scheme in Soham also enjoy a spot of romance.

More than 50 of them gathered for a special Valentine’s Day lunch in the dining room organised by Scheme Manager Sylvia Chivers.

Sylvia and her staff decorated the room with balloons and there was plenty of sparkling wine to go with the food.

Said Sylvia: “We have had a Valentine’s Day lunch here for several years ago and they are very popular with our residents.”
