The shake up in the energy market was good news for the consumer struggling against ever rising prices, for it meant they could shop around for the best value supply company for their gas and electricity. Now Hereward is aiming to help you find a good deal with a scheme due to be made available to all tenants from 1 February 2006.
Hereward is in negotiations with UK Energy, who are providing energy supplies from Scottish and Southern Energy PLC. UK Energy is operating this scheme with Sanctuary Housing Association and Sanctuary tenants managed by Hereward Housing are already benefiting.
As part of the Sanctuary Housing Group, this will allow Hereward tenants to benefit from the ‘affinity deal’ we are arranging with them for energy supply although you can still choose your own supplier if you wish.
