Sustain - Smart Heat

Smart Heat is an Energy Savings Trust (EST) sponsored programme designed to make communal heating systems in sheltered housing cost -effective and efficient.

Sustain delivers a ‘one stop’ solution for assessing, installing and delivering improvements to communal buildings.

Sustain successfully piloted Smart Heat at Laurel Court in Swindon and Marsh Pattinson House in Yeovil with estimated annual energy savings of £1,125 and £300 respectively.

Following on from the pilot, Sustain have now successfully installed their energy saving measures at the sheltered schemes listed below. You can see the projected savings in both energy and costs.

Sustain have also identified a couple of schemes in the London region which would benefit from these measurers and as soon as the surveys have been carried out, the savings will be added to this page.
