Improvements include a range of modern and attractive kitchens, bathrooms, gas powered central heating in all rooms, thermal and sound insulation, double glazing and a communal satellite system.
New lift towers have been added and high quality security front doors with entry systems and reinforced glass prevent non-residents entering and reclaiming the use of refurbished common areas. Improved estate lighting has also made blocks and the surrounding areas safer for residents and easier to keep clean.
The last 18 months have seen the completion of environmental improvements addressing residents concerns regarding green spaces, waste management, traffic calming, and car parking. Planning approval has also been granted to allow the construction of private back gardens and patios to ground floor flats in 27 blocks and the creation of six communal garden spaces and two play areas for young children.

The next few months will see the finalisation of plans to provide new community facilities and housing for rent and sale on substantial infill sites on two of the four estates. Meanwhile, the development team will be moving on to new projects handing over to the dedicated site based housing management team which is well placed to continue the success of this ambitious project.
