Sanctuary North

Overview

Sanctuary North manages over 8,500 properties in Sheffield, Hull, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Our customers come from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and include singles, couples, families, older people and those with special needs.

Specialist teams provide a customer focused, cost effective, quality service to all of our stakeholders. In excess of 170 people work in the region from our offices in Doncaster, Hull, Leeds and Scarborough.

The Association is committed to involving their residents in the decision making process, and the North has a resident involvement strategy outlining the organisation’s commitment to tenant involvement and participation. Their opinions are vital to us and we value them greatly. They are involved in helping implement any changes proposed for their estates, and contribute to the production of the local estate plans.

Tenant members are part of the Regional Board of Management, and the sub-group who are directly involved with increasing resident participation, and diversity opportunities.

We provide residents with many opportunities to get involved and make a difference to their homes, neighbourhoods and influence the services delivered by Sanctuary.

We have a regional Resident Involvement and Diversity Committee which consists of Residents from different areas of Sanctuary North. The role of this committee is to;

  • Oversee the effective implementation of the Resident Engagement and Diversity Action plans.
  • Help organise the annual residents conference.
  • Consider grants applications in excess of £500.
  • To consider and be involved in effective ways of encouraging resident participation.
  • To act as an editorial panel in connection with general publicity material issued to residents

If you would like to join the Resident involvement and Diversity committee or you would like further information then please contact us on 0800 781 0401

Our diversity strategy outlines our aims to eliminate discrimination and unfairness to all of our customers. We aim to ensure that all policies, procedures and services are fair and accessible to all.
