How do I tackle anti-social behaviour?

Sanctuary takes anti-social behaviour very seriously and will take the necessary steps to protect its residents. This can include involving other agencies such as Environmental Health, Council ASB units, local Councillors, community groups and the police.

Disputes with neighbours can range from minor disagreements through to serious harassment or even, in very extreme cases, violence.

Try talking to your neighbour to see if you can resolve the situation. They may not even be aware that they are causing you a problem. Failing that, contact your regional office for advice. If you are threatened with violence, please contact the police immediately as this is a criminal matter.
