Ardler has once again won first place at the National Scotland in Bloom awards under the competitions regeneration category. Members of the Ardler in Bloom team were presented with the award at a ceremony in
Dunfermline held on 13th September.
This follows a year of hard work by all the partners in Ardler in Bloom including the Ardler Environment Group, local schools (St Fergus, Brackens and Ardler), Urban Ranger, Ardler Village Trust, Dundee City Council, Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association and Ardler Complex. The competition does not just focus on flowers and plants but looks at broader environmental issues like litter, vandalism, safety and sustainability.
