What are we doing?

There are five Registered Tenant Organisations (RTOs) in Scotland who have statutory rights to involvement and consultation.

Sanctuary provides them with funding to the tune of £1.00 per household in their area of operation and they can access funding from us on an individual request basis.

The Ardler Village Housing Committee has delegated authority to make decisions about certain aspects of the Ardler estate (AVHC is made up of tenants and Management Committee members).

We have a consultation panel.

We work with local community groups for example one group operating in South Glasgow have just secured funding from us to hire a van for 3 years to take kids from the area to a local cycle track and back - the local group is made up of tenants from Priesthill.

We have regular meetings with the Tenant Groups and 1/4 of the Management Committee is made up of tenants.
