Annual Gas Safety Check and Service
We have been advised that the gas engineer was not able to complete the gas safety check and service at your home as arranged.
If the appointment on the letter received is not convenient, please contact the Gas Compliance team on 0800 288 9289 to rearrange.
The annual gas safety check and service is vital for your safety. It is a legal requirement placed upon Sanctuary Housing Services Limited that you allow access to your property for the purposes of the annual gas safety check and service. There is a clause in your tenancy agreement to allow reasonable access to your property and failure to do so will result in legal action being taken against you.
Gas appliances and fittings which have not been serviced can produce Carbon Monoxide. This is a poisonous gas which you cannot see, smell or taste. It is estimated that 50 people a year die from Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
