Regeneration proposals take shape

Resident feedback has been vital in helping shape our plans for the estate.

We had planned to hold another public consultation over the summer but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this was unfortunately not possible. Instead, residents were invited to provide feedback on our latest plans and ask questions via post, email or a dedicated web page with the proposals.

More details can be found here Barne Barton Regeneration Consultation Plans PDF(4.6MB).

Residents were also able to view answers to questions about the proposals (PDF 97KB).

Residents invited to discuss regeneration proposals

Exciting plans for a regenerated Barne Barton estate were launched by Sanctuary Housing in February 2020.

Residents and the wider community were invited along to a consultation event where they could view a range of displays, speak with staff and provide their feedback to help shape the future of Talbot Gardens. More information can be found here.

Multi-million pound investment in Barne Barton

On 1 March 2019, Sanctuary Housing consulted with residents about the future of ten blocks of maisonettes on Talbot Gardens, Savage Road and Roope Close. The event, part of a month-long consultation, provided residents with the opportunity to provide feedback on two investment options for the estate – regenerating with new homes or refurbishing the existing properties. More details can be found here.
