When Phillip Burston, a Sanctuary Housing resident from Paignton, discovered a draft coming from his windows, he was impressed with the service provided by our Customer Service Centre, who quickly resolved the problem for him.
Phillip, who lives on the Foxhole estate with his wife and 13-year-old grandson, knew something had to be done when he found himself wearing a coat indoors, despite the heating being on.
A member of staff quickly got in touch to book a convenient time for Sanctuary Maintenance to visit his housing association property to assess the problem. A follow up visit was then arranged for two operatives to replace all seals on the windows of the house.
Within three weeks of reporting the repair, the work was complete and Phillip was delighted with the results. He described the members of staff as “two great guys”, and was impressed with how polite they had been and how well they cleaned up after themselves.
He said: “You’d never believe the difference it’s made. I can now sit in a t-shirt!
“I’ve always found Sanctuary to be helpful, we’ve had no problems at all – they’ve always sorted us out.”
