Young people in Chester can look forward to a summer of fun thanks to a jam-packed sports programme provided by Sanctuary Housing, local police community support officers and Chester FC.

The free sessions will run from 1-3pm every Tuesday in Lache, apart from on 8 August, every Wednesday in Kingsway and on three Friday’s in Upton.

Open to young people aged seven to 14 years old, residents will be able to try their hand at a range of sports, including football, hula hooping and rounders, while a Panna Football Cage will be set up during some of the Kingsway and Upton sessions.

These sessions will not only be good for the young people’s health and wellbeing but will also give them a chance to have fun, make new friends and learn new skills.”
