Sanctuary Group spend £1m renovating retirement living scheme in Banbury.

Residents at a retirement living scheme in Banbury are enjoying its new-look facilities thanks to a major £1 million renovation by Sanctuary Group.

Major renovation works

Maintenance employees from the leading housing and care provider have been carrying out a vast range of transformation works at The Hawthorns scheme for the over 55s.

The renovations took place throughout the building with 37 of the scheme’s bedrooms being refurbished and complete redecoration of the communal lounges.

Taking place over 12 months, the works also included the installation of new UPVC windows throughout, a new fitted communal kitchen, re-laid patio area and redesign of the reception area and communal toilet.

“The team behind it have done a fantastic job creating this sanctuary that residents are going to use and enjoy for many years to come.”
