Residents consulted over evacuations

9 June 2021

The Grenfell Tower Inquiry has recommended that personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPs) are introduced for residents who would have difficulty getting out of a building on their own in the event of a fire.

As part of this, the Government is keen to hear from as many people as possible who would be impacted and would need a PEEP. This includes residents in high-rise buildings and other multi-occupied residential buildings.

You can find out more about the proposal on the Government website and have your say by completing this online questionnaire. The closing date for responses is 19 July.
