Shiregreen families are invited to a neighbourhood event to find out more about summer fun sessions starting later this month, organised by Sanctuary Housing and Sheffield City Council’s family learning team.
Family fun sessions
The programme of activities over the summer holidays will take place at Shiregreen Neighbourhood Centre, and a free informal event at the centre from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday 19 July will give local people the chance to have a coffee and learn more about the sessions, which will include healthy cooking and eating, craft fun and an exciting pirate-themed party.
“Spend meaningful time together”
Sanctuary’s neighbourhood partnerships manager, Melanie King, said: “We wanted to offer Shiregreen families the opportunity to spend meaningful time together over the summer holidays, learning new skills and having fun at the same time.
“I would urge anyone who is interested to come along to the information event on 19 July.”
Anyone who is unable to attend can still join in with the family fun sessions, which will take place on a drop-in basis. For more information contact Melanie King on 0800 131 3348, or 0300 123 3511 from a mobile.
This project is funded by Sanctuary’s Community Investment Fund, supporting projects which benefit Sanctuary residents and their communities.
