Torquay residents can have their say about what they would like to see in their neighbourhood at a community action day later this month.

All ages are invited

Funded by Sanctuary Housing and organised by Torbay Community Development Trust (TCDT), local people of all ages are invited to the event in Lichfield Avenue, Torquay, from 11am until 3pm on Tuesday 23 October.

What matters to you?

Residents will be able to join staff from Sanctuary, TCDT and a range of other community organisations to have an informal chat about what matters to them in Torquay, and where they feel improvements could be made.

Free food and refreshments will be on offer, alongside a host of activities for children and young people based around the theme of recycling.

“Listening to local people”

Michael Howarth, Sanctuary’s neighbourhood partnerships officer, said: “This event is all about listening to local people and discovering what action they think could be taken to give them positive opportunities and enhance their lives.

“We hope to see as many residents there as possible.”

This project is funded by Sanctuary’s Community Investment Fund, supporting projects which benefit Sanctuary residents and their communities.
