E-bike and e-scooter fires are on the rise, mainly due to battery and charger failures. To protect you and your neighbours:

only charge your e-bike or e-scooter when you’re awake and alert.

follow the manufacturer's instructions and precautions.

use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer.

don’t charge your e-bike or e-scooter if it has travelled through deep water.

replace your battery after five years of use.
Also, please don’t store your e-bike or e-scooter in a communal area. Doing this makes it harder for you and your neighbours to escape to safety if there is a fire.
