Around the world in 180 minutes with Chester & District Housing Trust

8 April 2014

Residents from Chester and District Housing Trust (CDHT) have organised a special event to celebrate cultural diversity within their communities by taking visitors around the world in 180 minutes.

Three hour GOSH Enterprises event

Members of CDHT’s Group Of older people living in Sheltered Housing (GOSH Enterprises) have organised a fun-packed, three hour event which will include a bazaar, food tasting, crafts, prizes and cultural entertainment.

Timings for 180 minutes around the world event

The event for over 55s will be held at St.Werburgh’s Parish Centre, Brook Street, Chester from 11.30am to 2.30pm on Tuesday 29 April.

Organiser Nina Harris, of GOSH Enterprises, said: “This will be a colourful and entertaining event which we are encouraging older people to attend as part of our tackling loneliness agenda. These events provide the opportunity for residents to join in and meet other members of their community.”
