Coffee, croissants and crafts open to all

14 August 2014

The opportunity to make friendship bracelets and enter a competition for the most imaginative geometric design will be on offer at a charity coffee morning in Chester next week.

GOSH Enterprises coffee morning

Members of Chester & District Housing Trust’s Group of older people living in Sheltered Housing (GOSH Enterprises) have organised the coffee morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. It will be held at Centurion House, Northgate Street, Chester on Thursday August 21.

Mandala competition at GOSH Enterprises event

During the event, a team from GOSH Enterprises will be holding a mandala competition which involves creating the most appealing geometric design. Open to anyone 55 and over, the winning design will win a £100 shopping voucher.
Organiser Nina Harris said: “Everyone is welcome to attend this worthwhile charity coffee morning, which is part of our tackling loneliness agenda. You don’t have to be a CDHT resident and we welcome all ages, young and old.”

Timings for GOSH Enterprises initiative

The entrance fee for the event, from 10.30am to 1.30pm, is £1 to include refreshments and crafts, with proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
