Cracking time in store at Lache Easter egg hunt

Sanctuary Housing is inviting local families to take part in a special Easter egg hunt at Lache Allotments in Chester.

Between 11.30am and 2pm on Thursday 5 April, visitors can follow a trail to find chocolate treats as well as take part in den building and Easter craft activities.

Residents will also be able to help plant sunflower and pumpkin seeds at the allotments, which are located at the corner of Oxford Road and Burnham Road, and offer the local community opportunity to grow their own produce.

Libbie Stock, Sanctuary’s youth engagement officer, said: “The allotments are a wonderful community facility and we’re looking forward to welcoming local families to the event and seeing lots of happy, smiling faces.

“We’d also like to say a big thank you to the local residents and organisations who are supporting the event or providing activities.”

The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided. For more information call Libbie Stock on 07557 285441 or email Libbie.stock@sanctuary-housing.co.uk

This event is funded by Sanctuary’s Community Investment Fund, supporting projects which benefit Sanctuary residents and their communities.
