Youngsters in Lache enjoyed all the fun of the fair as they took part in fun games and activities to celebrate the start of the summer holidays.

What was on offer at the Little Lache Nursery summer fair?

Children at Little Lache Nursery, in Poplar Road, enjoyed a summer fair where they took part in hook-a-duck and name the bear games.

The toddlers also tested their luck with a raffle, where an enormous cuddly bear was up for grabs, and tucked into the delicious cakes that were on offer.

Funds raised from the Little Lache Nursery summer fair

Organiser Kelly Lawrence, who manages the nursery, and her group of volunteers, including staff from Sanctuary, raised £240 from the event, which will be used to fund uniforms and school bags for the children.

Libbie Stock, Sanctuary Housing’s Youth Engagement Officer, said: "This was a really fun summer fair with some great activities for the children. We have supported Little Lache Nursery over a number of years and are pleased to support such worthwhile community activities.”
