Our Resident Advisory Panel (RAP)

Our Resident Advisory Panel works closely with our Group Board, Group Housing Board, and senior team. This diverse body of residents use their voice to make sure your views are central to our decision-making. The RAP works alongside our Resident Scrutiny Panel (RSP), a group who review the quality of our services.

As part of ‘Shaping our Future,’ our resident engagement strategy, we committed to providing you with more opportunities to influence the big decisions about Sanctuary’s future. Our Resident Advisory Panel helps us do that.

What does the RAP do?

Our Resident Advisory Panel has a key role in helping inform our key decisions and strategies. The panel works with senior Sanctuary staff to:

  • Develop new policies, strategies and ways of working.
  • Make sure the views of our residents are heard by our Group Board and Executive Committee to influence our decision-making.
  • Make recommendations to our Group Housing Board.
  • Act as a ‘critical friend’ to improve our residents’ experience.
